Since 1962, Camp Farthest Out has provided a camping experience for hundreds of disadvantaged and at-risk youth. The opportunity for a week of enriching, fun, and educational experiences in the great outdoors has been shared with more than 5,000 day and residential campers. Helping young people grow, while expanding their physical, intellectual, and social capacities has been the goal of Camp Farthest Out. The summer day-camp experience is a time is a time of discovery, creativity, and development.

The beautiful 38-acre site is situated in Sykesville, Maryland in Carroll County, just above the Liberty Dam. The camp provides wholesome, healthful surroundings in the great outdoors and includes a nature trail, an in-ground swimming pool, a playing field, and basketball court to encourage physical fitness. Campers enjoy meals in the dining hall or outside on the picnic grounds. There are cabins for sleeping and buildings for educational and personal enrichment.
